The High-Level Forum on Generative AI Governance and Cultural Co-Creation brings together thought leaders, policymakers, researchers, and industry experts to explore the intersection of artificial intelligence governance and cultural co-creation. This forum addresses critical questions around the responsible development and deployment of generative AI technologies while fostering inclusive cultural narratives and shared values.
Organized by the Media Intelligence Research Center at HKUST, this forum serves as a platform for examining policy frameworks, regulatory approaches, and cultural adaptations necessary for generative AI systems that respect diverse societies and promote cross-cultural understanding. The event will feature distinguished vision addresses, innovation forums, and fireside dialogues covering topics from digital policy and governance to AI's role in culture and society.
Participants will include government representatives, academic leaders, privacy commissioners, cultural institution directors, and industry pioneers who will engage in meaningful discussions about building trust, establishing accountability, and creating AI systems that serve the common good while preserving cultural diversity.
